“And when she finds it, she calls her friends and neighbors together and says, ‘Rejoice with me; I have found my lost coin.’”
Luke 15:9

We’ve discussed how difficult it can be when someone is lost.

But the relief and joy of finding something precious you thought was lost forever is overwhelming.

Whether it’s a diamond ring or a long-lost keepsake, the moment you recover it, you can’t help but share the good news with others.

Jesus uses this image in His parable to show how heaven rejoices when someone spiritually lost is found.

We often value success, achievements, or material wealth in our society. But in the Kingdom of God, the greatest value is placed on people—on souls returning to a relationship with their Creator. The woman who found her lost coin didn’t keep the good news to herself. She called her friends and neighbors to celebrate with her. This mirrors the joy in heaven when one person turns back to God.

For many of us, talking about our faith or sharing spiritual victories can feel awkward. But this parable shows us that celebrating spiritual milestones is not only good, it’s essential. When we experience renewal, restoration, or reconnection with God, we should share that joy with others. The work God is doing in our lives is worth celebrating—and it’s not meant to be kept secret.

So, what has God restored in your life recently? Have you experienced spiritual growth, a breakthrough, or a fresh realization of His love? Don’t keep it to yourself. Share it with your community, your friends, and your family.

Your story might encourage someone else to take the next step toward God.

How about it? Are you ready to share?
