SPIRITUAL WARFARE DAY TWO: YOU CAN’T WIN THIS FIGHT ALONE

August 02, 2025

From a sermon by Bryant Wright, Founder

“For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.” 2 Corinthians 10:3-4

Spiritual warfare is real—and subtle.

It’s not just about demons and darkness. It’s about pride, lies, shame, fear, and the temptation to give up when things get hard.

If you try to face it in your own strength, you’ll lose. Ephesians 6:13-15 tells us to “put on the full armor of God… so you can stand firm.” That’s because we don’t stand a chance without Christ. You weren’t built to face the enemy alone.

The good news? Jesus already defeated the devil through the cross and resurrection. So now, our job isn’t to win, but to stand. That means staying rooted in truth, faith, and obedience—no matter the pressure.

We don’t have to be perfect. However, we must remain armored, trusting in God’s strength more than our own.

So, let’s stand firm against the evil one through God’s supernatural power.

Tomorrow we’ll dig into our final installment, “When You Get Strong, Others Get Stronger, Too.” See you there!
