SACRIFICE – DAY FOUR: THE SACRIFICE OF INTERCESSORY PRAYER

July 19, 2025

Bryant Wright, Founder

“Pray for us. We are sure that we have a clear conscience and desire to live honorably in every way.”
Hebrews 13:18

You might think prayer is just a quiet, invisible act—but it’s one of the most powerful spiritual ministries in the church.

And it’s deeply needed.

In Hebrews 13:18, the writer isn’t asking for financial help or physical support—he’s asking for prayer. That’s how important it is. And if he needed it, how much more do our spiritual leaders today?

Prayer requires a sacrifice of time and focus. It is demanding work, at times exhausting, in a world full of difficulty. But when we choose to pause and lift up our pastors, small group leaders, or missionaries, we’re standing in the gap. We are inviting God’s power into their lives and ministries.

Our prayers matter. They empower. They protect. They open spiritual doors. Don’t underestimate the impact of asking God to give your leaders wisdom, purity, endurance, and joy. They need it more than we know.

Remember, prayer is not FOR the ministry. It IS the ministry that connects us to our power source – God Himself!

Just one more day. It’s been a great study on Sacrifice, but don’t miss tomorrow, “The Sacrifice of Legacy.”

I’m looking forward to seeing you there for this vital lesson!
