“…born under the law, in order that He might redeem those who were under the law.” Galatians 4:4-5

God’s law shows us what holiness looks like– but it also shows us we can’t keep it. On our own, we fail. We sin. But Jesus didn’t. He lived under the law perfectly, so He could redeem us. The picture of righteousness.

Redemption means being bought back, freed from slavery. Jesus’ birth wasn’t just a holiday event– it was the beginning of our freedom story. He came to do for us what we could never do for ourselves: free us from slavery to sin.
