Do you hear the clock ticking? Time keeps moving on. It never stops for anyone–no matter how important you are. We just can’t find enough of that stuff.
The late Jim Croce sang about putting time in a bottle. If that were possible, I imagine “time” would be a best-selling product!
But one thing’s for sure — God wants us to be good stewards of our time…
…and the starting point is knowing why we’re all here.
Consider these steps in finding the answer to why we are here:
- Ask God to help you develop a life-purpose statement. It will take some time, but to know why you’re here. it’s the best investment you’ll ever make.
- Decide each day what is the most important task for that day, and do it. By having a clear purpose, and doing the most important thing each day, God can revolutionize your life and help you make the most of your time.
Whatever you do, please don’t give up. There is no question that God has a purpose for your life, but sometimes God speaks in a still, small voice.
Ask and then listen. You’ll be glad you did.
