CAN WE HAVE REAL HOPE?

It’s been said that a person can live forty days without food, four days without water but only one second without hope.

This world can knock us down and suck the hope right out of us. Personal challenges, stress, loss, and pain. They’re enough to make us spiral into despair and just want to give up.

If that’s how you feel, I get it.

But what if we can possess real hope? Not the “I hope it doesn’t rain tomorrow” hope.  And I’m not talking about blind optimism.

When the Bible speaks of hope, it means deep-rooted confidence in God’s character. That we can trust Him to do what He says He will do.  This living hope can be ours through faith in a resurrected Savior, Jesus Christ. Regardless of our circumstances, the hope we have in Jesus strengthens us today and gives us a firm foundation for tomorrow.

This is Bryant Wright, hoping you’ll find real hope in Jesus, speaking right from my heart.
