THE GREATER RESCUE

The Red Sea split. Israel walked through it on dry ground. Then Pharaoh’s army, following their example, drowned. What looked like certain death became the doorway to life and freedom.

The same waters that threatened to trap them became the very means God used to save them. This is Israel’s salvation story.

This wasn’t just Israel’s story– it points us to a greater rescue. Centuries later, Jesus faced the ultimate “trapped with nowhere to turn” moment on the cross. Sin demanded a penalty. Death had to be paid. Evil thought it had won. But just as God parted the Red Sea, He did the impossible again. He raised Jesus from the dead, turning a place of death into the pathway of eternal life.

Maybe you feel trapped today– by guilt, addiction, fear, or circumstances you can’t control. The Red Sea reminds us: with God, there is always a way forward. Nothing is impossible with God. And the resurrection proves it. The greatest rescue has already happened. And because of Jesus, you are no longer trapped in sin and death. With Christ, victory is assured.

The Red Sea was Israel’s ultimate salvation moment. Jesus’ death for our sins and rising from death to life is ours!
