MAKING THE MOST OF YOUR TIME

“Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.” Ephesians 5:15-16

Do you hear the clock ticking? Time keeps moving on. It never stops for anyone– no matter how important you are. We just can’t find enough of that stuff.

The late Jim Croce sang about putting time in a bottle. If that were possible, I imagine “time” would be a best-selling product!

But one thing’s for sure – God wants us to be a good steward of our time…

…and the starting point is knowing why we’re all here.

Consider these steps in finding the answer to why we are here:

  • Ask God to help you develop a life-purpose statement. It will take some time, but knowing why you’re here is the best investment you’ll ever make to prioritize your time.
  • Decide each day what the most important task is for that day, and do it. By having a clear purpose and doing the most important things each day, God can revolutionize your life and help you make the most of your time.
  • Before committing to your calendar, pray and look at how it fits your priorities.

There is no question that God has a purpose for your life, and He wants us to make the most of our time while we still have time.
