“But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the first fruits of those who have fallen asleep.”
1 Corinthians 15:20
Christ told the truth when He predicted that He would die on the cross and rise again.
He did! He rose up from the grave!
So, on this Resurrection Sunday, wouldn’t it be a joy to proclaim the truth of what Jesus said and did?
What this means is that all mankind is divided into three groups:
- Some believe Jesus told the truth, is the Truth, and rose from the dead. These are Christ’s followers.
- Some have never heard about all this. Our mission is to tell this good news to those who have never heard it.
- And then some refuse to believe. God’s Word is very clear – by refusing to believe, you are choosing to be eternally separated from God.
But I have good news for you.
If you ask for the forgiveness of your sins and trust Christ, He will not only forgive you, but give you the greatest gift of all—the gift of eternal life with Him.
If you have been refusing to believe, why don’t you choose to believe and follow Jesus today?
What a wonderful decision to make on this glorious Easter Sunday!
