God has a way of getting our attention. Take the life of Jesus, for example. It was bracketed by two impossibilities: a virgin’s womb and an empty tomb. Jesus entered our world through a door marked “No Entrance” and left through a door marked “No Exit.”

Yet, the world didn’t want Him. Much like the innkeeper who turned Mary and Joseph away, and King Herod, who tried to eliminate even a threat to his power – very often, the world doesn’t want to make room for Christ. Mankind killed Jesus and sealed the tomb with a huge stone to shut Him out of our lives once and for all. But God had other plans. God removed the stone to prove that Jesus would not be shut up or shut out of His plans.
