We’re All Responsible

“I, even I, am the one who wipes out your transgressions for My own sake; and I will not remember your sins.” – Isaiah 43:25

The definition of murder is the premeditated killing of human life. So, since life begins at conception, any way you look at it, abortion is murder. If you have had an abortion, or performed an abortion, you are guilty of the sin of murder. But here is a message for those of you who have never been involved in an abortion – you, too, are guilty of murder. In fact, every person who has ever lived is guilty of the murder of the Son of God! This is not wordplay. It is an absolute fact that every sin each of us has ever committed directly caused the murder of Jesus Christ. We often speak of aborted children as “innocent life,” but understand this – there has never been a life more innocent than Jesus Christ! And we all are responsible for His death.

Those of you who have had an abortion, and those of you who have performed an abortion, know that the rest of us share the guilt of sin with you. And you, just like all others who seek forgiveness, can have all of your sins forgiven…all of them! You have been cleansed by the loving sacrifice of the Son of God. Accept that forgiveness, discard your guilt, and know the internal peace that your Loving Father gives to all of us sinners. We all deserve death for our sin, but in Christ, we have forgiveness and eternal life.
