“…that which is known about God is evident within them; for God made it evident to them.” – Romans 1:19
One objection to Christianity is that Christ is the only way to God. That raises another question: If Christ is the only way, what about all the people who live in remote areas of the world who have never heard of Jesus? Will they be damned to hell?
That’s a good question. I do know this: the Bible teaches us that we have a loving and just God. Is a just God going to condemn people who never had an opportunity to hear of Christ? They certainly can’t help that. But in the book of Romans, chapter one, Scripture does say every person will be accountable to God with the knowledge they have. Let’s just trust God to be fair.
Remember, you have heard of Jesus, and because of that, you’re responsible to choose whether you’re going to follow Christ or not. When you do choose to follow Christ, you can join with other Christians in getting the Good News out to those who have never heard. It’s Good News all need to hear–that Christ is the way to know God.
