The Lord is my shepherd. I shall not want;
Trust Christ as your good shepherd. He promises to meet your needs.

He makes me lie down in green pastures;
He gives us rest and spiritual refreshment.

He restores my soul;
He renews our spirit when we spend time with Him.

He leads me beside the still waters;
He calms our troubled souls.

He leads me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake;
His Word teaches us how to live.

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil;
He overcomes our fears, even of death.

For you are with me, your rod and staff they comfort me;
He’s always with us to discipline and encourage. He makes us feel secure.

You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;
He gives us strength to face those who aren’t for us.

You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows;
He gives us an abundance of blessings.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life;
Daily, He reminds us of His love and forgiveness.

And I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
He provides us eternal, abundant life.

If you’re feeling discouraged with the state of world and the difficulties you face; if you feel like a sheep without a shepherd, Jesus wants to be there for you. Like a good shepherd, Jesus is there through every long night and every storm. He never gets tired, never burns out, and never walks away. Every day is better when you know the Lord as your Shepherd.
