Jesus Has Exclusive Rights To Victory Aug 01 2012

"...for unless you believe that I am He, you will die in your sins." - John 8:24

The late baseball great, Ted Williams, and his son paid a company $136,000 to store Ted's body in liquid nitrogen, so that when science discovers a way to beat death, his frozen body will be ready to claim the cure. Sometimes wealthy people without God go to bizarre extremes to have a shot at beating death. So far, no scheme has worked.

But I have good news. One man has beaten death and He offers us the key to victory over death and eternal life. It won't cost you a nickel. But you have to be willing to entrust your life to His hands. You have to believe that He is God, the One who became a man to die for your sins - who rose from the dead. In short, you have to entrust your life to Jesus alone for victory over death.

Otherwise, it's no deal and death wins. Jesus has exclusive rights to victory over death. Trust Him and claim the victory.

Praise the Lord! Less then an hour ago, my church sisters and I spoke a little on the book of Mark 1:1-16. In this passage, John the Baptist gave an clear illustration of who is to be honored. God express this in verse 11, "And there came a voice from heaven, saying, Thou art my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased." If our father in heaven approved of Jesus Christ, then so do I. Amen!

I have a Book sitting right here in front of me entitled The Purpose Driven Life...

There is a Message on the First Page which says: "For Gunk--Rick Warren--Proverbs 19:21." Now I don't know if Warren writes that Scripture Reference in all his Books.

No I have not had it Marked or placed in a Glass Case or anything like that.

"There are many Devices in a Man's Heart but it is the Counsel of the Lord which will Forever Remain..."

Now why in the World is this sitting here? What on Earth am I here for?

Bizarre Extremes...I am a Dead Man Walking.

I'm telling you--We are going to have some Great Times in Glory and yes...I will Scrub the Toilets.

It won't cost you A nickel- it'll cost you ALL your nickels. You'll have to enter the gladiator arena against your ego... and kill it. You'll be ridiculed, humiliated, and scorned (maybe killed) for professing the name of Christ. But once you get even the slightest taste of true Joy, you know that any price is well worth it.
