No One Said Thanks Jul 22 2012
"Now on his way to Jerusalem, Jesus traveled along the border between Samaria and Galilee. As he was going into a village, ten men who had leprosy met him. They stood at a distance and called out in a loud voice, "Jesus, Master, have pity on us!" When he saw them, he said, "Go, show yourselves to the priests." And as they went, they were cleansed. One of them, when he saw he was healed, came back, praising God in a loud voice. He threw himself at Jesus' feet and thanked him—and he was a Samaritan. Jesus asked, "Were not all ten cleansed? Where are the other nine?18Was no one found to return and give praise to God except this foreigner?" Then he said to him, "Rise and go; your faith has made you well." - Luke 17:11-19
One foggy night, many years ago, there was a near-tragedy on a large lake. There were a lot of people intoxicated on a houseboat when an explosion occurred and a fire erupted. It was utter chaos. Fortunately, there was a resident on the shore who could see what was happening. He swam out to that houseboat and directed the panicked people toward the shore. And miraculously, even though it could have been a terrible scene and many could have drowned, everyone survived.
Later that night, after all the victims and emergency workers had left, the man sat by the fire talking to a lone reporter. After talking for an hour, the reporter asked a final question. “Well, sir, is there anything at all you might like to just share about this experience?” The man sat there a moment. Then he looked at the reporter, and he said, "Yeah. Not one person said thanks. Not one.”
One interesting aspect of human nature is that when we find ourselves in a desperate situation, we cry out to God; we cry out for His help. Even skeptics begin to pray when facing a serious illness or a serious injury. When we need the intervention of God, we pray as never before.
Then, when God answers and helps us, many times, we forget to say thanks. Take time to say thanks to God and to others. They deserve it and you'll be blessed when you do.

Yes, report it NevermindOne of my Friends and I were up on Allatoona Fishing under the Red-Top Bridge one night with my Daughter...Had to be 15 Years Back at Least. We saw this Glow in the Sky about 20 Degrees to the Northeast. Someone had come in to fire up their Houseboat in the Marina without running the Bilge Blowers. Thing went up in Flames along with several Others. The entire Place was Ablaze. We thought is was Fireworks or a Bonfire until the Helicopters began to Arrive.
Huge Fire Engines running over the Bridge and my Bud said: "We need to get out of here...There is Trouble over There"
So we get the Boat on the Trailer and all kinds of people are at that Ramp wanting a Ride to see their Boats...They offered all Kinds of Money just to get in some Boat and go see what was happening to their Properties.
And he turned them Down...We threw my Little Gal in the Truck and proceeded to go away.
Attorney says: "You did a Fantastic Job with your son all those years...Reach over your Shoulder and give yourself a Pat on the Back..."
So I have to thank God for my Two Children--Their Health and the Fact they are going to be Somebodies Someday.
And I Thank Bryant for making this Ministry possible...

Yes, report it NevermindI love your ads, but today I want to bring somthing to your attention, you mentioned today if the virgin brth was a myth, Jesus would not be God but was a good man,I would say if that was the case he would be a liar, because he said he was the son of God. He is either a liar or the true son of God. He can't be a good prophet or the son of God, but he is either the Son of God which he clearly is or a liar. He can't be just a good person!
