Thanks For The Memories May 28 2012
"Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for his friends." - John 15:13
As we come to another Memorial Day, it's appropriate to take a moment to say a word of great thanks to those who have put their lives on the line to preserve our freedom. Give thanks to those who have given their lives for their country. We think about those who did this in World Wars I and II, in Korea, in Vietnam, in the Gulf War and more recently, in Afghanistan, Iraq and more.
We need to always remember those who gave their lives in these wars. Jesus said, "Greater love has no man than this, that one lay down his life for his friends." Certainly these have set the example in service to our nation. And Jesus Christ has set the ultimate example in giving His life for all mankind.
On this Memorial Day, we honor those who gave their lives for our nation. As we remember them, think about the One who gave His life for our salvation.

Yes, report it NevermindGlory be to God for His abiding Spirit within us. We love because he first love us. All the good we do is because of God's DNA on the inside of us. I pay tribute to all the soldiers who followed after God's spirit and I praise the Lord for giving men the ability to love unselfishly.
