Letting Go Apr 06 2011
"Train up a child in the way he should go, and even when he is old he will not depart from it." - Proverbs 22:6
Parenting is a continual process of letting go - from that first day of school, to handing over the car keys for the first time, to leaving home for college, and finally, when they leave to cleave to another.
I’ll never forget the wave of emotion I felt a couple of nights after my first child left for college when I saw an empty spot in the driveway where he always parked his truck. He’d never be back permanently in our home.
Parenting is the process of letting go. God’s word says, “Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” In short, the best way to be ready to let go of our kids is to prepare our children to live responsible Godly lives on their own.

Yes, report it NevermindAmen.
God hates divorce. It may be unavoidable in some cases, but should only occur as a last resort and after much trying on the part of all concerned.
